The honorees for our June 10, 2021 Virtual Gala can be described as members of TGCW’s unofficial “power couples” club.
Drs. Nancy and Sam Beran and Gwen and Kevin Reardon have demonstrated a passion and commitment to supporting TGCW’s mission and the people who come to our agency for help and support. We are grateful for their on-going compassion and steadfast guidance.
Nancy R. Beran, MD, MHCDS, FACP, CPE is a founding member and Chief Medical Officer of Westchester Health. She has been integral to the strategic recruitment and integration of new physicians and clinical growth of their practices in Westchester, NY and Stamford, CT.
Dr. Beran is a practicing Internist with over 20 years of experience who focuses on Women’s health. Dr. Beran has been recognized for many years as a Top Doctor in Westchester County, Exceptional Women in Medicine and outstanding clinical practice with the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative. Her commitment remains first to her patients and to improving healthcare delivery for all.
Nancy has been a strong a supporter of The Guidance Center of Westchester. She has conducted holiday drives for the participants of TGCW, including a toy drive and a hat, gloves/mittens drive.
Samuel J. Beran, MD,MBA, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and in Westchester County, New York City and Putnam County. Sam is Co-Founder, Medical Director and Managing Director of Cosmetic Surgery Associates of New York. Prior to joining Cosmetic Surgery Associates of New York, He is past Chief of Plastic Surgery at White Plains Hospital and is currently on staff at White Plains Hospital, Phelps Hospital, and Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. Sam spent several years teaching and practicing cosmetic surgery at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. In addition, Sam also has an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Sam is a nationally recognized cosmetic surgeon with over 25 years of surgical experience. He has authored dozens of scientific papers and chapters. Sam has been recognized by New York Magazine as one of the country’s “Hot New Docs” and acknowledged on multiple occasions as “Best Plastic Surgeon” by Westchester Magazine.
Dr. Beran joined our Board of Directors in 2015. He has been a very active member of the Board and is currently Vice Chair of the Board, and Co-Chair of the Board Development Committee. He has actively recruited new Board members during his time on the Board.
Gwen Reardon has served as an esteemed member of TGCW’s Emeritus Board for the past five years. Prior to that, Gwen was on the TGCW Board of Directors from 2012-2016. Gwen has been a dedicated volunteer, and a valued member of the Gala Committee over the years, and has been instrumental to the growth of TGCW.
Kevin Reardon is Vice President of Corporate Development, where he heads IBM’s M & A, portfolio management, and business investment efforts globally. Kevin joined IBM in 1981 and has held a variety of technical and management positions in product and business development, strategy, sales, service and research. Kevin enjoys spending time with his family and writing music as a hobby and is a strong supporter of TGCW.
