The Zen of laundry

Most of us look at doing laundry as a chore - one that we don't particularly enjoy.

Jeff shares how this everyday task played an important role in his recovery and wellness. Thank you, Jeff for sharing this insightful perspective, and thank you, Earthbreeze. Your donation is about more than just clean clothes.

Earthbreeze recently donated enough of their eco-friendly detergent to wash 15,000 loads of laundry. The packets were distributed to our program participants. You can learn more about Earthbreeze on their website: Earthbreeze.com.

Below is a transcript of what Jeff shared:

For some people, the art of cleaning can be the equivalent of meditation or Zen practice. For many of us in recovery, it is a crucial step towards simplifying activity and reducing anxiety. At one point in my life, doing laundry became a lifesaving ritual. I could focus on being present while completing tasks that brought waves of peace and accomplishment.

Embracing what was clean and fresh gave me a sense of renewal. I wanted a fresh start myself.

If you are like me and want to maximize your laundry-time, consider using this new product—Earthbreeze, a solid, fragrance-free, concentrated sheet of detergent that dissolves instantly in water.

Earthbreeze is a powerful, deep-cleaning, eco-friendly detergent.

It may not be able to remove the problems you want to change in your life, but it will get your laundry clean while you think about how you can start fresh.

Each packet can wash up to 60 loads of laundry without the bulk and waste of plastic jugs.
